Subway in Korea
If you don't have a rental car, It's totally okay. You can get to the most of places to visit as a tourist by public transportation.
So today, we'll gonna talk about how to take Korea subway first.
As i talked about the Transportation Card(교통카드), It would be really useful when you use public transportation. This time i'm gonna talk about how to use it and how to transfer to other lines during your trip.
For how to use it, it is really easy. You just tap the card on the tag board which looks like below.
Once you got out of money in your card or have to buy a disposable coin(need 500won for deposit), You can top up the card or buy a disposable coin at the top up machine(You can mostly find it right next to the ticket barrier and can change the language of the machine.)
For transferring to other lines of subway, This can be difficult, But you will get used to it.
If you see the picture above, There are lines of subway, also there are intersections which are indicated as color dots in oval shape like Seoul station, Young-san station.
So in those intersections, You can transfer to other lines, And you can find the sign like below.
